The 95th Department of California Convention will be held in Palm Springs this year.  If you are planning on attending it is important that you get your room reservations in as soon as possible. 

Be sure to send your reservation form to the District, NOT THE HOTEL.

“Women Veterans Lead the Way” to be held in San Diego on September 25-27, 2013.

CALL FOR COMMITTEE MEMBERS!

Planning a conference is a multi-person job and we need your help! If you are you interested in being a part of the planning, please email Catherine Banks at Catherine.banks@calvet.ca.gov. The last day for submissions is Monday March 4, 2013.

Being a committee member would require you to be available for bi-monthly conference calls and completion of assignments by deadlines. You do not need to be a woman or a veteran to participate, everyone is welcome!

E-MAIL ALERT

There are many SPAM E-Mails going around.  Many of these "spammers" are getting addresses from forwarded E-Mails when multiple addressees are listed.  When sending E-Mails to multiple recipients, please use the "BCC" address line.  This will prevent the addresses of all of your contacts from being gathered by spammers.  In addition, when forwarding an E-Mail, please delete the address lines from the previous sender.
